At ACE Logistics Latvia, we believe that supporting youth entrepreneurship initiatives is a meaningful investment that contributes to the sustainable development of Latvia’s economy. That is why we were honored to be one of the main supporters of Bizness24h 2025 – the largest youth entrepreneurship competition in Latvia, with its final round taking place on May 7 this year.
From Idea to Real Business
The competition’s third round ran from February 10 to May 7 and brought together 53 of the strongest teams – around 150 young people who had stood out in the previous stages of the competition. During this phase, participants had the opportunity to implement their business ideas in a real environment, supported by experienced mentors, engaging with potential customers, and adapting to market dynamics.
ACE Logistics Latvia not only shared its professional experience, but also provided the main prize – a €2000 cash award, which was granted to team B kubā. The team convincingly demonstrated the ability to implement a business idea without initial capital investment, skillfully utilizing available resources and developing a model where income covered the necessary operating expenses from the outset.
Inspiration and Insights from On-Site Participation
Kārlis Kasparāns, Managing Director of ACE Logistics Latvia, took part in the event in person and gained a number of valuable insights into the potential and mindset of today’s youth.
Participating in Bizness24h provided me with a wealth of powerful insights and inspiring reflections. I was most impressed by the courage, initiative, and eagerness to learn shown by the young people. Working side by side with them, I witnessed how ideas transform into action — with confidence, passion, and purpose. This experience reinforces my belief that Latvia is nurturing a strong and promising generation of future entrepreneurs.
The event also clearly highlighted how important the environment is — a motivating atmosphere, like-minded teammates, the presence of mentors, and a respectful attitude not only sparked ideas but also encouraged participants to overcome internal fears or doubts and act with confidence.
Many participants, perhaps without even realizing it, demonstrated a truly entrepreneurial mindset — they weren’t afraid to experiment, analyzed their mistakes, adapted quickly, and came up with new solutions on the fly.
Another key takeaway: personal communication remains the most powerful sales tool. While social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram are effective supplements to communication strategies, they cannot replace direct contact — a conversation, meeting, or phone call — where trust and conviction in the idea or product are built.
From Presentation Quality to Business Model Viability
The competition featured projects in both manufacturing and service industries. Manufacturing concepts showed strong long-term potential and prospects for customer loyalty, while service providers demonstrated faster market entry and adaptability to seasonal and market fluctuations.
It became clear that a strong presentation is driven by personality, storytelling, and simplicity. Participants who communicated with openness, used accessible language, and conveyed their ideas with emotional resonance managed to convince the audience in just a few minutes.
Another important insight — regular team meetings and progress tracking proved to be the most effective way to drive results. Teams that assessed their goals weekly were better able to maintain focus and discipline.
And finally — launching a business doesn’t require a large initial investment. The most important step is to recognize your existing resources and take action. Initiative is more valuable than waiting for the perfect moment.
An Investment in the Future
The Bizness24h final was clear proof that Latvia is home to a knowledgeable, creative, and entrepreneurial new generation. We extend our sincere thanks to the BA School of Business and Finance, its student council, and especially to Līga Peiseniece and Viktorija Zaviša for organizing such a professional and inspiring event.
ACE Logistics Latvia will continue to support initiatives that strengthen young people’s entrepreneurial capacity and promote practical business skills. We believe this is an investment that builds a more sustainable and competitive future for Latvia.
